Manchester's speakeasy bar and restaurant has licence problems
Lounge 10, the glamourous speakeasy that has remained one of Manchester's most sensual and decadent establishments for over ten years, has announced a (perhaps temporary) closure with immediate effect. The venue has announced that "it was with great regret that last Friday (November 1st) we announced that Lounge 10 will be closing. Having encountered unforeseen licensing issues we will be closing our doors with immediate effect."
As well as issuing an apology to any customers that are affected, Lounge 10 is also going through the process of contacting everyone that has made event or restaurant reservations which occur in the coming months, which of course, crucially includes the Christmas season. Licence applications for venues that serve alcohol can hit a variety of snags along the way, so hopefully this is something that can be addressed and overcome before too long. Lounge 10 put a membership recruitment drive into action in recent months, particularly among the corporate sector.
The Tib Lane business is keen to stress that, "This is not the end for Lounge 10 and we ask that anyone looking for updates keeps their eyes on our website." Lounge 10 also have their own catering service for outside events and want to reassure any customers with bookings, or that want to make catering bookings, that this will continue.
If you need to reach Lounge 10 about a booking or outside catering they can be called on 0161 8341331 or by email: email@example.com
